About

And so it begins…

This is my journey of development, mainly personal but also in my new venture as an entrepreneur.

I always thought of myself as an outgoing and confident person and managed to blag my way through most of my teens and twenties. Having already conquered moving continents from South Africa to settle in the UK when I was only 21 on my own with my son, I was already in my thirties in the blink of an eye, where does the time go? My thirties brought their own challenges; I made a huge career change, met the love of my life, moved house twice, had twins and then got married. The happiest and most stressful times of my life. Slowly without me realising it my confidence had been slipping away and I couldn’t remember who I was, why I was doing the things I was and where my life was going.

So yes – I have a ‘day’ job, I am a mom and I am a wife! But lets not forget I am also a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a niece, a friend and at the end of it all – just me. I know it’s very cliched to say that on my journey through life so far I have often wondered “Is this it?” and “There has to be more out there?” but I’m sure we’ve all had those thoughts cross our minds every now and again. It’s whether or not you decide to do something about it. I am fortunate to have the love and support of my husband who is my rock, my best friend and someone I can count on to tell me truth no matter what. And friends and family who have offered love and support in helping me find the strong, confident person I always was. So this is me – ‘Alive’.

This is now the new chapter in my life, my fabulous forties, and I’ve decided to take every opportunity that life has to offer even if it pushes me out of my comfort zone, which it often does, because life is too short to have regrets. And I have been lucky enough to have found the opportunity to join a business that allows me to grow as a person and to grow my business to make that “more” I am looking for. And by that I don’t mean millions of ££’s, although that would be nice, but I mean financial security, being a success, more time to spend doing the things I love, making my friends and family proud of me and more importantly, being the best version of me.

I would love to show you how passionate I am about changing my life so follow my progress and let me know how I’m doing and I definitely hope to see you along the way.

This is my time, I am ready for the next step.
